Noticeboard

The Partners of Mowbray House Surgery are in early discussions with the Partners of Mayford House Surgery about the possibility of merging the two practices. Further information below............

Please remember to keep us updated of any change in contact details.

Welcome to Mowbray House Surgery

Mowbray House Surgery is an eight partner practice based in the market town of Northallerton and covering a wide rural area with a full time branch surgery in Hutton Rudby. There is also a weekly branch surgery in Appleton Wiske.

The doctors are supported by the practice manager, a team of practice nurses and health care assistants, dispensers, receptionists and administrative staff. Also based in the practice are district nurses, midwives, specialist nurses and a physiotherapist. Dr Lough, Consultant Psychiatrist, holds weekly clinics in the practice. It is hoped that this inclusive approach provides a comprehensive service for all our patients.

Proposed Practice Merger

The two GP practices in Northallerton, Mayford House Surgery and Mowbray House Surgery, are considering a merger. This merger would potentially take place in April 2017. The aim of the merger is to improve and expand services for the future. Both practices will remain open full time and GP appointments will continue to be provided from both sites.

Named GP

In order to comply with NHS guidelines all patients registered with Mowbray House Surgery will be allocated a named GP. This does not affect the care patients receive patients are still able to see the GP of their choice where possible. If you would like to know the name of your GP please ask at the Reception desk.

Staff Training Days

The practice will be closed for staff training from 1.00pm on Tuesday 29th November
