Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor’s discretion and are usually for patients on long term treatment.
Please request your repeat prescription one week before collection as we require a minimum of three working days to process your request.
Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made:
- In writing
- By calling in at the surgery
- By faxing your request to 01609 778029.
- By telephoning 01609 760002 between 12.30pm-3.00pm – Monday to Wednesday and 12.30pm-2.00pm Thursday-Friday.
- Online .
If you have signed up previously, you can arrange for Tesco, Boots, Well pharmacy or Day Lewis to collect your repeat prescriptions from the surgery.
The dispensary is open Monday - Friday 08:00 – 18:30 and Saturdays 08:30 – 12:00.
We have provision to dispense to patients who live within our practice area but NOT those who live in Northallerton or Romanby.
Currently the Dispensary is closed every Wednesday 1.00-2.00pm.
From June the Dispensary will be closed every Friday from 1.00-2.00pm and will be open all day on a Wednesday
When will my prescription be ready?
Did you know that you can order your prescription up to one week in advance?
However please allow a minimum of three working days for your prescription to be prepared once you have requested it.

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
