Lindsey Dougall

Lindsey has advanced nurse training which means she is able to diagnose, manage and treat many of the minor health care problems which were traditionally seen by the GP. Where necessary she is able to organise further investigations such as x-rays and blood tests or referral to a Consultant, or other health care professional. She is an Independent Nurse Prescriber.


Helen Clark

Lead Practice Nurse

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice and dressings. The practice nurses also run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma and diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smear tests.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood) and blood pressure measurement. They may also act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
